feels like winter! and i llloooovvvve ittt

this past weekend has been awesome! (; friday night jake came over and we had taco bell yum. we watched obsessed with my mama. jake ended up spendin the night and actually let me sleep and woke up with riley (: hes so good with her. saturday my parents were gone for the night to a wedding so i went to work and jake watched little miss riley. we stayed the night at his house and went to bed as soon as we got home cuz work made the both of us tired!! and today me riley and jake roasted marshmellows outside. rileys eyes would not move from the fire. we also gave her a lick of marshmellow and she got mad when we stopped haha. she loovves em. now were watching bride wars....

riley has changed so much and shes the best baby! shes made herself a routine of going to sleep at 11 pm waking up at 4 30 havin a bottle then sleepin till 8! its great!! (: shes starting to smile alot more now. my dad (pappi) gets her smilin more than anymore and her great grandpa lowell does too. me and jake enjoy her so much. (: i cant wait to see the next changes that she starts making.

3 weeks old today!

Riley is 3 weeks old today. the last time we went to the doctor she was 7 14, im sure she is way more now based off what she eats!! she is eating 4 ounces every 2 hours..so think bout the time im spending at night! haha. she is already very alert. she knows her mommy and daddy.everytime either me or jake speaks, she turns her head towards us which makes me and jake both so happy. shes lifting her head already..constantly. she loves being on her tummy and she will not sleep without her pacifier AND being swaddled. lately ive been having to put her in the bed with me and wait till she is DEAD asleep before i can put her in her bed because she gets alittle fussy. shes already spoiled but i dont care she deserves it. shes a very good baby and hardly ever cries, if she does it breaks your heart because she creates a sad face before her cry comes out so you always know when its coming. when her cry sounds like a giggle that means she wants her paci and wants to be held close, when she screams, well...shes STARVING. another one of her favorite things is the bath! ive been giving her one everyday because she loves it so much, sometimes twice a day. she always looks so relaxed. anyway, shes crying right about now so il have to fill you in more tomorrow!! (:

me and riley spent our weekend in cartersville with nanny, cindy, SYDNEY(:, amanda, cash and mama. sydney brought miss riley ann a pig beanie as a gift and she loved it! sydney is so sweet and still the brightness of my days! i love her and shes so great to riley. we had fun accept for friday i got the virus and little sweet riley got it too, but thank God she is better now.

after seeing jake last night, it reminded me how lucky i am to have these two. me and jake have been through clearly ENOUGH but ever since riley has been brought into the world, we have both changed in many ways and i love him 10 times more now! we are so happy!

Rileys ambilical cord finally came off! and she had her first bath. she loved itt!!! she would get alittle fussy but as soon as a sprinkled warm water on her with the wash cloth she just sighed and did NOT want to get out. also this past weekend we stayed at my nannys house with amanda and cash and she had her toes painted pink! she was sleeping while she was getting them done so they turned out very cute [-:

New Baby

i decided to re-create a blog all for just my wonderful daughter! Riley Ann was born september 10th on my birthday! she weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces. me and jake are very attached and so happy! not only did she bring me and jake together and closer, she brought happiness to so many people!!! shes such a blessing and i dont know what i would do without her. i cant wait to start updating this everyday and share her changes with you!
